"Like a lot of the people reading this site, I found that my hemorrhoids were really interfering with my life enjoyment. Like when I'd be having fun on a camping trip, when suddenly I'd get a flare up and they just wouldn't stop bleeding. I've lost count of how many times something like that has happened.
But did I want to use just any kind of hemorrhoid treatment? No, absolutely not. I'm a big believer in the perfection of mother nature. So when I wanted to cure my hemorrhoids, I was insisting on a natural cure. I would not put anything in my body or do anything to myself that wasn't available at the time Adam and Eve were walking on the earth. Why use a cure that's worse than the disease?
Unfortunately, this is easier said than done. I had already been eating a fairly healthy diet full of natural, unprocessed foods full of vitamins and minerals, so there wasn't much I could improve there. If you're currently eating the standard American diet then you have a lot you can improve. For me, I was already there.
Next, I looked at my exercise program. Most people don't realize that an out of shape body is one of the most likely causes of hemorrhoids, because of the extra stress it puts on your digestive and elimination system.
I was actually in decent shape already, but I thought I could do better. I was kind of naturally fit, but I wasn't doing much exercise. I figured that even though I looked good on the outside, I still needed to exercise so I'd be up to par on the inside.
I started doing a lot of jogging and aerobics. I even took up kickboxing at one point, and found it to be a lot of fun. But when I looked and felt great, my hemorrhoids weren't shrinking or reducing their bleeding. Well, maybe a little, but I still had a problem for sure.
I looked at all the over the counter drugstore remedies, being sure to check out the ingredients. A lot of them had things that I definitely don't want to put in my body. For all I knew, I could be making the problem worse with side effects. I did find some that contained only natural ingredients, but I didn't find them effective.
I had tried everything, and had basically given up looking. But sometimes you find something when you least expect it.
